DEDICATED TO MIKEY
kit, my love! this one's for you <33 sorry this one's so short.
the lights were dimmed as your fingers strummed the guitar strings. the sound of the crowd cheering almost drowned out your guitar, "you've been amazing, chicago." you smiled as the cheers got louder.
"this last song is dedicated to michael john graydon soroka, my mikey." the smile that found its way on your face could be seen from miles away.
"so, this is his favorite song." you looked off to the section where you knew he was sitting, and blew him a kiss, sending the entire crowd into aws.
after the show and after the meet n greet, you walked into the green room, where mike was sitting. when he saw you, he jumped off the couch, and wrapped his arms around you, pulling you off the ground.
"i'm so proud of you. you were so amazing." he pressed kisses all around your face.
"i'm so happy you were able to come to the show."
"i would fly all around the world to see you perform." you smiled, "do you have a show tomorrow?"
"no, we'll be here for a few hours, then we leave to fly to columbus."
"so, we better make the most of the time we have."

Twins Edge Sox To Extend Winning Streak To 8!
Twins 3 White Sox 2 W-Jax (2-2) L-Brebbia (0-1) SV-Thielbar (2)
The Minnesota Twins are back over .500 after a seven-game winning streak. They headed to Chicago to open up a series tonight against the White Sox. The Sox were ready from the start as Nicky Lopez led-off the first with a single to center and Andrew Vaughn doubled him home. Gavin Sheets followed with a single to right and Eloy Jimenez hit into a double play, which plated a run. Chicago took a two-run lead after an inning of play. The Twins answered in the second as Manny Margot led-off with a walk and Carlos Santana crushed a Garrett Crochet slider out to left for a two-run homer. This tied the game at two after two frames. Garrett Crochet and Joe Ryan settled down as the game wore on. The bullpens held up in the latter innings until Byron Buxton led-off the ninth with a double to left. Max Kepler singled him home to put the Twins on top. Caleb Thielbar got in and out of trouble in the ninth and the Twins extended their winning streak to eight tonight.
-Final Thoughts- Joe Ryan was good today after a rough first inning. He went six innings and allowed two runs on six hits with a walk and three strikeouts. Brock Stewart fanned two in a perfect seventh, Griffin Jax had a scoreless eighth, and Caleb Thielbar got in and out of trouble in the ninth. The Twins scattered four hits and went 1-for-6 with runners in scoring position. They left five men on base. The team activated Carlos Correa off the injured list and optioned Austin Martin to St. Paul. Tomorrow, Simeon Woods Richardson faces Mike Soroka in Game 4.
